We just got word that In Bruges, the new action comedy starring Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes, will open at the Terrace Theater next week (March 14). Below is a trailer of the movie. It looks like Farrell is finally being given a comedic role in his native Irish voice. UPDATE: The website for the Terrace Theater says that Juno will close on March 13 and The Savages will close on March 14. I’ve seen both. They are excellent films for very different reasons. Meanwhile, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day opens Friday and the Brazilian movie called City of Men is apparently not showing at the Terrace at all.

There's more to art than you think. It's not just theater, paintings, books and dance. It's the enterprise of human creativity and it takes vastly different shapes and forms. Here you'll find my thoughts about the arts in Charleston and beyond. Neither of us knows what to expect.
