The actor, best known for his role in Brokeback Mountain, was found dead today at 3:35 p.m. in his New York apartment, according to the New Zealand Herald. Police said they don’t suspect anything suspicious. So far, there are few details into his death. CNN says he was 27. The New York Times says he was 28. The City Room, a blog by the New York Times, said there were pills by his body. —J.S.
