I’d posted a video of Bill “Bojangles” Robinson yesterday just because I’m an admirer of his. But then this afternoon, I was flipping through channels looking for a football game when I came across the local UPN station. It was broadcasting the movie about Robinson’s life starring Gregory Hines. That’s serendipity for you. You never see it coming. I tuned in right when Robinson had gone off to Hollywood to make a string of movies with Shirley Temple, the child star. The scene was at the staircase. Robinson is just stellar. Check it out here.
